Personal Tax (T1) Deadlines

Note: If April 30 falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline moves to the next business day. Late filing penalties are 5% of the balance owing plus 1% per month for up to 12 months. Interest on unpaid balances compounds daily at the CRA prescribed rate.
